Abaco in news again!

Big on charm and short on crowds, the Abacos have long been a hidden treasure for Bahamians and a few lucky visitors who stumbled upon this oasis. I suspect all of that is soon going to change!

A second article this week alone, features this 120 mile chain of islands and all of its allure. The article in The Washington Times features Marsh Harbour, Man- O- War Cay, Green Turtle Cay, Hope Town on Elbow Cay, and Guana Cay.

The article says, “Pack away the clichés about a tropical vacation. The Bahamas Abaco Islands are one of those rare places you can step off the grid and escape the modern homogeneity that plagues so many destinations.

Abaco, prized for years by those who yacht and deep-sea
fish, is a protected little Bahamian jewel, a place that’s not overrun with
casinos, mega resorts and traffic of which there is very little. A single
street light in the capital of Marsh Harbour is the only one on the island.”
